The vast majority of issues will be easily solved with the information below. Though do get in touch at support@maltronics.com with as much detail as possible if we haven’t come across your issue yet!

Common Issues

The target Network / Device isn't showing as scanned
The target is not disconnected from the network
I've forgotten the password
I can't connect to to the deauther

Device Reset

If none of the troubleshooting tips work, a catch all solution is to reset your device. A reset involves re-flashing your device. Please perform this on an up to date windows pc, download the nodemcu flasher tool below. Also the relevant firmware bin file for your device.

  1. Download blank.bin, deauther.bin and flasher tool.exe as above.
  2. Open up the flasher tool, navigate to the advanced tab, and make sure your options match the image below.

  1. Next, under config click the cog icon to select the path for the blank.bin

  1. Head over to the operation tab, plug in your deauther, select it’s COM port and hit Flash

  1. Once flashed, remove your device, plug it back in then wait 30 seconds before proceeding to the next step
  2. Repeat step 3 and 4 but flash using deauther.bin
  3. Your device is now reset!
